There’s so much to look forward to during the month of September, and we’re officially starting to loose track. The all-important September issues of our favorite fashion glossies are still rolling out, we’ve got New York Fashion Week upon us in a matter of hours and the highly-anticipated documentary The Super Models is coming to AppleTV+ on September 20 – and we simply can NOT wait.
Watch the official trailer below:
The news of the docuseries first began to circulate back in early 2022 and it wasn’t until Apple dropped an official first look back in July, that our streaming dreams were confirmed and the four-part series was set to feature supernova fashion models Linda Evangelista, Christy Turlington, Naomi Campbell and Cindy Crawford. Directed by Roger Ross Williams and Larissa Bills, each fashion-packed episode will cover the rise of each of the four supermodels stardom in great detail and will include exclusive first-hand interviews from the industry icons themselves.
You may not need reminding that the modeling legends are currently having a resurgence. Not only are Linda, Christy, Naomi and Cindy Vogue‘s current September 2023 cover stars (for both the American and British editions) but Linda just made magic with the equally as legendary Steven Meisel for WSJ. Magazine, Christy is the face of Carolina Herrera, Naomi has dropped a collection with fast-fashion retailer Pretty Little Thing and after almost three decades, MCM welcomed back Cindy Crawford as the face of their brand.
Roll on September 20, we say! Await more from AppleTV’s The Super Models docuseries and join the conversation over on theFashionSpot forums, here.
